The ceiling fan you own could possibly be a hazard and you don't even know it.

HD Supply is recalling more than 140,000 of their Seasons Ceiling Fans after discovering the brackets connected to the blades can break off, causing the blades to fall. Obviously, this could really suck if you were near the fan when this happened. No one wants a fan blade to the skull. So you're going to want to check the ceiling fan info below to make sure you don't have one of the fans listed.

This recall involves Seasons-branded 52” five-blade ceiling fans. The recalled fans were sold in the following colors:

  • White
  • Brass
  • Bronze
  • Brushed Nickel

Each fan has either zero, one, three or four lights.

Model numbers are:

  • 269702
  • 269712
  • 269714
  • 269716
  • 269718
  • 269808
  • 269810
  • 269812
  • 269816
  • 269818
  • 269820
  • 269822

The model number is printed on a label on top of the motor housing.

According to Consumer Product Safety Commission, the fans were sold exclusively at HD Supply stores nationwide and online at www.HDSupplySolutions.com from March 2016 through February 2018 for between $60 and $140.
