Talk about "Dawn of Justice." Ever wonder why they haven't made a Batman V. Superman movie before? This retro version of the just released-trailer w/ Adam West and Christopher Reeve should be all you need to see to know the answer to that.

The first couple 'Superman' movies, starring Christopher Reeve as the Man of Steel, were awesome back in the day, but don't really hold up by today's standards. Still, many people had a hard time letting go of the "All-Amercian-clean-cut-Boy-Scout-saves-everybody-in-a-semi-campy-action-adventure-romp" feel of those films enough to enjoy the dark, somber tone of Zack Snyder's 'Man of Steel.' Batman '66 is a whole different story.

When it comes to Adam West's version of the character -- nobody is asking for the return of that Batman. It was actually the version of the character that almost killed the comics because no one took the Dark Knight and his Boy Wonder seriously anymore... until Frank Miller introduced the darkness in his epic 'The Dark Knight Returns' series. In fact, it is that exact series that serves as the main inspiration for the cinematic bout between Bats and Supes... but can you imagine if they filmed it in 1978?
