‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Gets an ‘Honest Trailer’ For Marvel Name-Dropping

It’s reasonably fair to say that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. commands the least respect of the TV branch, always catering itself to the movies, while the Netflix series garner praise at every turn. The Avengers-adjacent drama has gotten significantly stronger in Seasons 2 and 3, but now answers for its Marvel-ous crimes in the latest Honest Trailer.

ScreenJunkies inducted Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the fifth TV series given its signature parody, following more prestige offerings like Breaking Bad, Game of of Thrones and The Walking Dead, and less, like Entourage. Most of the Agents observations prove reasonably apologetic, considering the series had its premise blown up by The Winter Soldier months in, and operates well-beneath the movie budget for significantly more content, still churning out decent story.

That said, who knew Coulson had such a weird walk, everywhere he goes?

In the meantime, Marvel’s Agent Carter will air its third Season 2 episode later on tonight, while Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 proper will return in March to check in on Ward’s weird zombie-demon-alien-hybrid-thing.
