If you are looking to go on vacation this summer, Allegiant Airlines might make it a bit easier for you. Starting in June, they will be offering direct flights from Flint to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

These new flights will start on June 6th of this year. The direct flight from Flint to Fort Lauderdale will be available for year-round service. The Myrtle Beach flights, however, will only be available during the summer.

If those destinations are not what you are looking for, Allegiant still offers nonstop flights to Tampa, Orlando, and Punta Gorda directly from Bishop International Airport.

I have been planning a lot of trips lately as I am in my mid-30's and really have done much traveling in my life. Fort Lauderdale was on my bucket list for this year and these flights couldn't have come at a better time. There will be a Florida golf trip for me this year. Yes, I know it will be hot during the summer, but I don't care. A week golfing in Florida will be worth it.
