Ann Arbor Police Take Out Light Pole During Chase On UM Campus [VIDEO]

The Ann Arbor police were not playing an games when chasing a suspect through the University of Michigan diag. While two officers chased a suspect on foot, another tried to catch up in a cruiser.

During the officers attempt to catch up to the pursuit, the cruiser cut across the grass. Seeing as how most lawns in Michigan are slush right now, there wasn’t a lot of traction for the officer’s cruiser to grab. After losing a little bit of control, the officer took out a light pole next to the sidewalk.
