Yesterday, the clever people at Marvel teased us with an ant-sized trailer preview for ‘Ant-Man,’ leaving us laughing and desperate to see the real deal. Thankfully, they didn’t leave us hanging for very long because today brings the regular-sized trailer preview—yes, it’s still just a teaser for the first teaser trailer, and it clocks in at just 17 seconds, but the few flashes we’re given are enough to stir up some additional excitement.

The world premiere for the full teaser (which is what Marvel is calling it; who knows how long it will actually be) is this coming Tuesday, January 6, during the premiere of ‘Agent Carter.’ The show starts at 8 p.m. EST, so be sure to tune in to check out our first extended look at the film.

The teaser above is pretty brief, but it does give us some glimpses at Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang, who appears to be getting an escort from a couple of law enforcement officers of some king, and a little peek at Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne with her sleek new haircut. There’s also a shot of a facility stationed across a large body of water, which we’ll likely discover more about next week. Scott and his mentor, Hank Pym, have to team up to pull off a fantastic heist in order to help safeguard Pym’s Ant-Man technology from the nefarious forces who wish to possess it—so maybe that building figures into the heist.

‘Ant-Man’ is directed by Peyton Reed and also stars Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Corey Stoll as Darren Cross/Yellowjacket, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, and Judy Greer, and hits theaters on July 17, 2015.
