Anne Erickson

Hey, guys! I grew up listening to classical music, opera and musical theater, but somewhere along the way, discovered rock and metal. Hearing bands like Nirvana, A Perfect Circle, AFI, RED and Seether opened up a new world to me, and I’ve worked in the music business ever since. I graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre from Michigan State University and started working as a reporter for Gannett Michigan. I also scored my first radio job on an alternative station in Michigan. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing Billy Corgan, Slash, Zakk Wylde, Metallica's Kirk Hammett and many more. Fun fact: I don’t like going to the movies. I can't sit still that long! Thanks for listening, and God bless!

Dirt Fest 2012 is about a month away, and if you haven’t heard, Las Vegas boys Falling in Reverse were just confirmed as one of the headliners. Whether you’re the one doing the dumping or getting dumped, dealing with a breakup is never fun. So, what went wrong? Summer is almost here, and that means wedding season. Chances are, your significant other will drag you to at least one wedding this summer. Let’s be honest: Weddings can actually be really fun. 3 Doors Down’s Todd Harrell Loves Making Albums the Old-Fashioned Way

3 Doors Down have sold millions of albums over the years, but if you ask bass player Todd Harrell, the band’s expectations for sales have evolved quite a bit since first spitting out ‘Krytonite’ in 2000.

While the band’s latest assortment of songs, ‘Time of My Life,’ entered the Billboard 200 at No. 3 and has achieved major success, Harrell says it’s nothing like the numbers bands saw a decade ago, before the Internet took over the music industry.
