Avatar are generating quite the buzz for their upcoming concept album, Feathers & Flesh, and the band is teaming up with Loudwire to exclusively bring you another new track from the disc. Take a listen to "Tooth, Beak & Claw" in the player provided above.

As you can hear, the song features some stylistic shifts with vocalist Johannes Eckerstrom working through a number of different vocal deliveries within the track. Meanwhile, for the guitar lovers, there is riffing aplenty throughout. Just turn this one up and let it rock.

"'Tooth, Beak & Claw' is epic, massive death metal designed to make you want to dance. It's the Beach Boys reporting in from Valhalla. It's a gang of zombie surfers riding the waves of Hades," Eckerstrom tells us.

He continues, "In the story we meet the Eyes. They are the mob and represent all of us at our most fierce and dangerous, ready to fight blindly and full of rage for a cause we may not even fully understand."

If you like what you hear, Avatar's "Tooth, Bear & Claw" is featured on the band's Feathers & Flesh album, which is due May 13 via eOne. The album is currently available to pre-order at Amazon and iTunes.

Look for Avatar back out on the road this spring, starting April 30 in Fort Myers, Fla. The band will be taking Wilson and Sunflower Dead along for dates that run through May 29 in San Antonio. See their full itinerary here.
