Awesome Trailer For ‘The Avengers’ Hits The Web [VIDEO]

Perhaps the biggest superhero movie ever attempted is one step closer to theaters as the explosive new trailer debuts online.

Just from a fan standpoint, I would think it to be impossible to make a great movie out of such an large story. 'The Avengers' will feature The Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Nick Fury, Hawkeye, Loki and probably a half dozen other major characters from the Marvel Comics Universe.

Marvel wisely set up the origin stories for each character in previous films of their own, so they wont have to waste much time giving you back story in the new film. If the trailer is any indication, this might be the biggest blockbuster ever. The Joss Whedon ('Buffy the Vampire Slayer' creator) directed 'The Avengers' starring Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, and Scarlett Johansson hits theaters May 4th 2012.
