One spot opened up for this years Bad Golfers League! We start tonight if you know a team that wants to join.

The 2018 Bad Golfers League is set to return to your Wednesday nights starting in May. Sign your team of two up fast because this league sells out quickly every year. As always, if you are looking for a super serious league, this is not the one for you. This league is all about enjoying the night, having a few cocktails, and hitting the course. Check out all the details below.

• Where: Swartz Creek Golf Course
• When: Wednesday nights starting on May 16th.
• Cost: $20/person each week (18 and over). Other payment options are available below to save you some money.
• Other details: The Bad Golfers League will play on the front and back nines of Swartz Creek Golf Course each week (no league play on the executive nine this year.) Tee off each Wednesday begins at 5 pm and continues until all league players are on the course.
• Rules: The Bad Golfers League follows standard scramble play for all teams. Both teammates will take their shots off the tee box and pick the best ball that was hit to play from. The team will repeat that process the entire hole.

It wouldn't be a fun league without some games to keep it interesting. Each week teams will be able to get in on skins and win prizes for closest to the pin and longest drives. "The Soaring Eagle Hole" is returning this year as well. Each week, one par 3 on each side will be designated as "The Soaring Eagle Hole." Land your tee shot in the circle around the pin and get in the running for an overnight stay and golf package at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort.

How can I save money on this years' league fees? This year we have a couple new payment options and incentive plans to ensure players commitment to the league. Regardless of the option you choose, deposits, down payment, and other fees will be due on Wednesday, May 16th before the start of play.

Each player on the Bad Golfers League can pick from the following three options:

• Full season payment upfront, $200 total. Players who decide to pay for the league completely up front will get:
  • No weekly fees (skins not included)
  • Two (2) free rounds of golf at Swartz Creek Golf Course (18 holes and cart)
  • A league membership card to receive discounts on golf at SCGC throughout the season
  • A league beverage discount card
  • TOTAL PRICE: $200
• Partial season payment upfront, $100 down payment. Players who decide to pay for half of the league up front will get:
  • Weekly fees of $10 for ten weeks (skins not included)
  • A league membership card to receive discounts on golf at SCGC throughout the season
  • A league beverage discount card
  • Last week of golf free (skins not included)
  • TOTAL PRICE: $200
• Zero down payment up front. Players that choose this option will pay as follows:
  • Weekly fees of $20 for all 11 weeks (skins not included)
  • A league membership card to receive discounts on golf at SCGC throughout the season
  • A league beverage discount card
  • TOTAL PRICE: $220
