Hey, kids. Do you like the Banana? Are you good at internets? Do you make good words and stuff? Then you may already be qualified to join the Banana team.

All joking aside, we are looking for interns who are interested in creating online content for the Banana website (which you are on right now, btw). We create new local and national pieces of content daily that are read by thousands of people and we're willing show the ropes in return for your time and dedication. Here are a few things that we look for (but are not necessarily required) in those who are interested:

• Knowledge of WordPress
• Interest in pop culture (movies, rock music, video games, viral videos, etc.)
• Good writing skills
• Access to a computer and the Internet
• Video editing skills
• Familiarity with Reddit, Facebook, StumbleUpon, etc.
• Not being a dick
• Reliability
• Creativity
• Sense of humor
• Photo editing skills (via Photoshop, Pixlr, etc.)
• Some graphic design skills

Now this is an unpaid internship, but much of the work could be done on your own time and will look great on a resume. You will also learn important blogging skills and how to get your content in front of the most people possible. The content you create will live on our website permanently and you'll be able to show it to friends, family, potential employers... basically whoever you want to for as long as we have a website.
