With a vote of 7 to 1, Bay City leaders approved an ordinance that allows a limited number of dispensaries to operate within various business districts.

According to WNEM, the decision comes as the state began accepting applications for medical marijuana facilities.

Only one leader voted against the move because he feels it sets a bad example for the community. Personally, I think it's a great move for the city. I love seeing more and more cities getting on board with this.
