Blink-182 is back with a new album, radio single, and a summer tour with several sold out dates.

When I think of Blink 182, I really have to ask myself what IS my age again, because they take me back to a time when I had no bills, unlimited free food, and my own phone line in my room as long as no one was using the dial up internet. Those days are long gone, and after hiatuses, lineup changes and Travis Barker's 2008 plane crash, the band has managed to get back on the horse. Their upcoming album, 'California' is set to hit shelves on Friday July 1st, and their new radio single 'Bored To Death' has cracked the Top 10 on the rock charts.

One of the most popular media topics concerning the band right now, is whether or not founding member, singer and guitarist, Tom DeLonge actually left the band to focus on investigating "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena" with his new franchise Sekret Machines. Some articles say he did, while some of his personal Tweets (below) offer opposing information. I don't know that it really even matters, because the new album was recorded with Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) as the guitarist/vocalist.

Blink-182 is currently on tour with A Day To Remember, and that tour includes a sold out stop at DTE Energy Music Theatre, August 30.
