Bring Me the Horizon have finally unveiled release plans for their sixth studio album, Amo. The British act have set a Jan. 11, 2019 street date for the record, and the album art offers just as many questions than it provides answers.

Yesterday (Aug. 21), Bring Me the Horizon debuted the highly anticipated single, “Mantra.” The song represents yet another stylistic departure for the once-metalcore act, with the majority of their fans embracing the next step in BMTH’s evolution. "It felt like the first thing we wanted to show people upon our return,” singer Oli Sykes told BBC Radio 1 about the cut.

As for the Amo album, Sykes offers, "Amo is a love album that explores every aspect of that most powerful emotion. It deals with the good the bad and the ugly, and as a result we’ve created an album that’s more experimental, more varied, weird and wonderful than anything we’ve done before."

BMTH shared a photo of a CD covered in hearts, placed in a plastic bag with a torn Amo sticker on the outside. You can’t help but wonder if fans will be picking a Ziploc bag off the shelves come Jan. 11 or if this itself will be the Amo artwork.

Stay tuned for more info on Bring Me the Horizon’s Amo as details continue to be revealed.
