Burger King’s Twitter Page Hacked [PHOTOS]

Burger King’s Twitter page was hacked Monday morning changing the companies BK logo to the golden logo of their arch-nemesis which included a pic of their latest product as well.

After almost an hour and a half officials at burger king contacted Twitter to have the account suspended but by then the announcement had been re-tweeted multiple times that Burger King had been sold to McDonald’s because "the whopper flopped =[ FREDOM IS FAILURE." Burger King then released the following statement.

“It has come to our attention that the Twitter account of the BURGER KING® brand has been hacked. We have worked directly with administrators to suspend the account until we are able to re-establish our legitimate site and authentic postings. We apologize to our fans and followers who have been receiving erroneous tweets about other members of our industry and additional inappropriate topics.”
