Burton Homeowner Surprises Intruder, Police Searching For Suspect

The thought of someone breaking into your home is scary, let alone finding an intruder in your home! That is exactly what happened yesterday to a Burton father and his daughter.

When dad and daughter arrived home Monday afternoon (3200 block of Genesse Road), their door had been kicked in and the intruder was inside. Once discovered, the intruder took off. He is described as white, with brown eyes, a short brown beard and roughly 30 to 40 years of age. If you have any information or recognize the man in the picture please contact Burton police.
