Carman Hills Tops List For Flint Township’s New Name [VIDEO]

For awhile now, residents and business of Flint Township have been trying to change the name. Some feel that "Flint Township" brings too many negative connotations and even caused property values to go down. To fix that, they are trying to change the name. 

Possible names have been added to a list with the Suggestion Committee since September. This week, over 100 new names have been marked off the list. In the most recent vote, the committee agreed to "Carman Hills."

The next step is to get the new name approved by the County Board of Commissioners. If they approve, it will go on to the community to vote.
