10 Years are down a familiar face as longtime bassist Lewis Cosby is sitting out the latest leg of the 'Cutting Like Knives' tour in order to be home for the birth of his first child. The group didn't have to look far for assistance as Fair to Midland's Ryan Collier will be sitting in on the run. Fair to Midland opened dates for 10 Years over the summer.

The Foo Fighters freshened things up by digging into the past with several classic rock covers Friday night (Sept. 21) during their headlining set at Atlanta's Music Midtown festival. The event also gave them the opportunity to reprise their frequent cover of 'Bad Reputation' with the song's originator, Joan Jett, who had played earlier in the day.

Stone Temple Pilots fans in Abbotsford, British Columbia, last night (Sept. 17) had to exercise an extreme amount of patience in order to see the band play live as the rockers finally took to the stage two hours after the opening band without any explanation to ticket-holders regarding their tardiness.

And the fans lucky enough to be in attendance were treated to a two-and-a-half-hour marathon set that spanned the band's entire career.
Megadeth's Dave Mustaine celebrated his 51st birthday on Sept. 13 by playing a concert to a packed house in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After playing their last song of the night, Mustaine was surprised with a birthday cake onstage by two lovely ladies, while the crowd sang 'Happy Birthday' to the legendary frontman in both English and Spanish.
