The grass at the Birch Run Expo Center was eventually stomped into mud as a result of too much rocking out at Dirt Fest, but that didn't stop anyone from having fun. Check out these pics of folks who turned the mud pit into their own personal playground, as well as what the ground looked like when it was all said and done.

The lineup for the 2012 edition of the annual Virgin Mobile Freefest festival has been announced, and once again it’s an eclectic bill. Jack White, Skrillex and M83 are among the acts lined up to headline this year’s event, which will take place on Oct. 6 at Merriweather Post Pavillion amphitheatre in Columbia, Md. Other acts lined up for Virgin Fest include Santigold, Alabama Shakes, Ben Folds Five, Trampled by Turtles, Portugal. the Man, Future Islands and recently reunited Washington D.C. post-punk act Dismemberment Plan.
Las Vegas, the Guns N’ Roses road show is coming to you for the better part of a month. Axl Rose and crew have announced a series of 12 shows that will run between Oct. 31-Nov. 24 that will take place at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Dirt Fest 2012 was amazing this past Saturday with over 50 bands performing on 5 stages. Minty was on hand to get some up close and personal shots of some of the bands performing on the main stages.
It's hard to believe Dirt Fest 2012 is all over. We had an absolutely killer time on Saturday (Aug. 11) out at the Birch Run Expo Center and we hope you did, too. From In This Moment's crushing afternoon set to the non-stop crowd surfing during Clutch's unforgettable, night-closing performance, Dirt Fest was awesome. It's as simple as that.
We know you love them. Hell, who doesn't want a little Psychostick in their lives? We were stoked when we found out they were playing Dirt Fest, but we absolutely lost it when they said they'd spend some time in our acoustic lounge!
You want some Indie Gypsy music? You got it. Dirt Fest 2012 equals non-stop rock 'n' roll ... unless you stopped by the acoustic lounge, then you were treated to some killer intimate unplugged performances by tons of Dirt Fest bands, including the very, very, very intriguing Bye Bye Birdy.
Out of Salt Lake City, Royal Bliss has been rocking the world since 1997. Fortunately for all in attendance at Dirt Fest 2012, they rocked the Birch Run Expo Center, too!
