August 6, 2012 Florida resident Mandy Ramsey, 35, led police on a car chase after officers attempted to pull her over for speeding and driving topless. I am guessing she wasn't going too fast if they could tell she was topless, or maybe she has a giant rack?
A shooting at a Sikh temple near Milwaukee left seven dead on Sunday, including the gunman. According to police reports, a gunman arrived outside the temple at around 10 AM and shot and killed two people. Afterward, the shooter walked inside the temple and fatally shot four others.
August 3, 2012 Davison resident Steve Babcock had to deal with the unimaginable, his daughter was murdered. Trisha Lynne, was shot and killed in 2009 by a 12-year-old boy in Detroit. The boy was convicted, but as a juvenile. As of now, he could be released when he is 21. Mr. Babcock does not want that to happen, and is working with legislators in Lansing to change the law.
July 31, 2012 True story. A Philadelphia restaurant owner is facing charges of animal cruelty after police found a video of him 'pulling, tugging and choking' four cats. Authorities were in the Chinese restaurant investigating an unrelated shooting when they came across the video.
James Holmes, the former neuroscience graduate student suspected of killing 12 people and wounding dozens more during a July 20 shooting rampage at a movie theater in Aurora, CO, has been formally charged with 24 counts of murder and 116 counts of attempted murder.
July 30, 2012 This all happened over an attempt to pull a man over for a busted tail light. The Herald Bulletin, is reporting that James Lockhart III shot a police officer during an attempted routine traffic stop. Lockhart was later shot and killed by assisting officers. Why Lockhart got out of his car and shot at officer is beyond me. Check it out for yourself, as it was caught on tape. Nuts!
