An interesting study came out from the Journal of Urology recently. The study used a decade of information about genitourinary injuries in American adults to compile the top 7 reasons for genital injuries. According to The Atlantic, the number of genital injuries averages about 16,000 per year and men accounted for two-thirds of these. A Utah youth football coach is being charged with assault for allegedly hitting an opposing player as he ran down the sideline. The 7th grade player supposedly suffered a season ending concussion. When the video surfaced, Nathan Harris was arrested and charged with second degree child abuse. That charge was later dropped to assault. Free Beer and Hot Wings weigh in on the situation and try to figure out if the coach is truly at fault.
Donald Trump went on a Twitter rampage the night of the election and several news outlets took notice. Free Beer and Hot Wings also took notice of something that evening, they watched as Brian Williams tears into Trump on national television. Williams cataloged all of Trump's tweets and read several on air, closing the segment with: "So there you have that... That happened."
An MSNBC reporter had a hard time identifying Will.I.Am during election coverage on Tuesday night. At first he reported that the man standing behind him was Wyclef Jean, wrong. He then corrected himself by claiming he was Wale, also wrong. Finally on the third try, the reporter correctly identifies the man as Will.I.Am. That whole debacle led to some awesomely awkward cross talk between the anchors and the reporter.
A comedian and filmmaker created what could be described as the greatest pizza commercial of all time, if it were real. Vincent Gargiulo, the filmmaker and creator of the David's Pizza spot, made a short film that takes you through a half an hour of 1986 local programming. 'Extreme Cougar Wives' is coming this November to The Learning Channel (TLC). The one-hour program follows three elderly women who are involved with significantly younger men. The teaser video opens with Hattie, a 76-year-old woman, explaining how she is labeled a cougar because she sleeps with younger men. It seems as though The Learning Channel no longer has any inclination to teach you anything... Scratch that, we learned what a cougar was.

The premise is that our hero, Jeremy, is attempting to prove that he is the most talented athlete to come out of his high school. Jeremy doesn't want to do any of the normal mundane things that earn you admiration. Oh no, he doesn't want to break any school records, win the big game, or head off to the state finals. He wants to jump the width of a dirty pool. This, and only this, will secure his fame.
Grammy winning singer, Meat Loaf, gave his endorsement to Mitt Romney at a recent rally in Defiance, Ohio. What Mitt didn't know was that Meat Loaf was about to make a fool of himself moments after the endorsement was made. Meat Loaf, joined by Big and Rich and Randy Owen of the band Alabama, closed the rally with a rendition of 'America, The Beautiful.' It just happened to be the worst rendition of 'America, The Beautiful' that anyone has ever heard. Ever. The four singers got about 1/10th of the words correct and were off key for most of the song. This just goes to show that you should probably practice a song before singing it.
Khandace Cossitt of Virginia is not your ordinary grandmother, not by any means. She is a 56-year-old granny that wants to fight in a MMA cage match.
