Rock Fail

This station is obviously quite a bit more hardcore and bad-ass than most stations, so we don't use those corny jingles that a lot of those OTHER stations use. However, just in case we ever change our minds and decide we need one, I used my incredible talent as a vocalist to create one...in two minutes!

I've seen plenty of mosh pits in my day, this one has to be the worst. It seems like they want to get rowdy, but looks like the teacher already yelled at them to keep their hands to themselves. It's pretty sad.

The Courtney Love fronted Hole played a show in New York in 2010, but nobody paid the sound guy hired to record the show. Bad move. Now he has uploaded Love's isolated vocal and guitar tracks that put the "Hole" in "Holy s--t that is the worst thing I've ever heard!"

Slipknot remind us that there is nothing more metal than pimping for your favorite web browser. Knot cool, guys.

If there was only one solid message that I could get out into the world of rock-ish type people it would be this: STOP USING BLEEDING COWBOYS FONT FOR YOUR LOGO! Most people don't necessarily know the exact name of this font style, but we've all seen it.

It's no surprise when you hear people outside of a culture sound clueless when reporting on it, but a recent news story on about a 9-year-old girl who was brought on stage during Five Finger Death Punch's set at Fort Rock takes the cake for terrible, uninformed reporting.

I have been to hundreds of rock shows in my life.  One thing that I have never attempted to do is crowd surf.  Partially because I don't like the idea of a ton of people touching me, but the main reason is I can't trust that the people around me care if I make it or not.  Check out this video compilation of the brave surfers who just didn't make it.

I've watched some serious guitar fails in my day but this has to be one of my favorites. Watch the guitar player on the right as he is going to attempt to swing his guitar around his neck but unfortunately for him something tragic happens instead. I laughed so hard the first time I watched this.
