Worst to First: Every DC Animated Original Movie Ranked

Has any one person meant as much to the DC Universe over the past 25 years than Bruce Timm? When the animator and TV producer co-created Batman: The Animated Series with Eric Radomski back in 1992, he and his team at Warner Bros. offered a fresh take on an iconic character, finding a balance between the breezy fun of the ’60s Batman and the darker Dark Knight of the ’70s and ’80s. Timm then went on to co-create one of the more entertaining versions of Superman in another animated series, debuting in 1996; and in 2001 he carried the lessons from those two shows into Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, which together comprise some of the best superhero television ever made.

It, uh, makes more sense in context, kind of.

New ‘Jessica Jones,’ ‘Daredevil’ and ‘Punisher’ No Earlier Than 2018?

For as long and Marvel and Netflix have been putting out series, we’ve had to wonder about release strategy. Two per year has remained the norm; first Daredevil and Jessica Jones in 2015, then Daredevil Season 2 and Luke Cage in 2016, and with Marvel now confirming renewal for the former, as well a Punisher spinoff, it seems all else will wait until after The Defenders.

‘Walking Dead’ May End TV Series and Comic at the Same Time

Heading into its seventh season, The Walking Dead is already at an age when most series would look to start wrapping things up, though its status as AMC’s flagship hit with miles of Robert Kirkman story ahead would make that unlikely.
