Presented by Back to the Bricks, the 8th Annual Chrome & Ice Winter Classic Car Event dates for 2023 have been announced with this year's theme soon to follow. This awesome event attracts car enthusiasts from all over the Great Lakes State and beyond.

If you or someone you know is interested in displaying a car in the show, you can get registration information here. Keep in mind, space is limited and all participants must register for a chance to be in the show.

New to Chrome & Ice 2023 is independent judging in the following categories,

  • Best of Show
  • Best of Show Interior
  • Best of Show Engine Compartment

The competition will still include a People's Choice Award winner too.

Guests certainly do not have to have a car in the competition to enjoy the fun. The three-day event takes place at Dort Financial Center in February 2023. Here is everything you need to know about this exciting event.

When and where is the Chrome & Ice Winter Classic Car Event held?

The event is held at Dort Federal Event Center located at 3501 Lapeer Road in Flint, Michigan.

The dates and times are as follows,

  • Friday, February 10th,  from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM - Public welcome.
  • Friday, February 10th VIP Experience starts at 6:30 PM
  • Saturday, February 11th from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM - Public welcome
  • Sunday, February 12th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM - Public welcome

Please note the awards ceremony will take place at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 12th.

How much are Chrome & Ice General Admission tickets?

  • $10 for adults
  • $7 for youth, ages 12-17
  • Children under 12 are free
  • Parking at the arena is $5 at the gates
