Sylvester Stallone revitalized the spirit of 80's action films with the first star-studded outing of 'The Expendables'. The sequel promises to be the single greatest action film of all-time, and I was saying that before the two latest additions to the cast: Chuck Norris and John Travolta.

Worst Previews is reporting that when 'The Expendables' sequel begins filming in Bulgaria next month, the already impressive cast will be joined by Chuck Norris and John Travolta. After months of rumors on who would direct and who was actually confirmed cast, CEO of the studio shooting the movie David Verod recently cleared up some of the speculation:

"Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, John Travolta, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke...who else? Of course, Bruce Willis. The director is Simon West, who is also a name. He is already here and has started working on the film."

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis are rumored to play much bigger roles in the sequel, although their 3 minute cameos were one of the original's high points. I'm assuming Chuck Norris won't be in the movie for more than 3 minutes, any longer and everyone in the cast would be roundhouse-kicked to death. The remainder of the film would be Chuck taking a nap...I'm sorry, I forgot. Chuck Norris doesn't sleep, he waits.

There is no word on whether Travolta will be playing a man or a fat woman this time out but you can expect to find out when 'The Expendables 2' hits theaters August 17th, 2012.
