Construction Begins on I-75 That Will Take 14 Years to Complete [VIDEO]

Today's newborns will be teenagers in driver's training by the time this construction project concludes! 

Construction on north and south bound I-75 began this morning, but is not scheduled to be completed until the year 2030. According to Fox 2 News, the goal of the one billion dollar renovation is to make the freeway meet modern day needs. The project will add a fourth lane to the heavily traveled interstate road, from 8-Mile Road to M-59.
