Last week we found out that Metallica will bring the second outing of the Orion Music + More Festival to Detroit in 2013. Now a city contract has revealed that Belle Isle may host the event, and not just for this year either.

According to MLive, The City of Detroit website has posted a contract with Metallica's music festival, which indicates that Belle Isle will be the location of the event. Though it is not 100% confirmed, the document projects the amount of profit it could make for the city through the next three years.

The fact that the figure, somewhere near $450,000, is a three year projection would indicate that the festival may be held in Detroit annually through 2015.

In 2012, Orion Music + More saw such diverse acts as Avenged Sevenfold, Eric Church, Modest Mouse and, of course, Metallica take the stage over the course of a summer weekend in Atlantic City. No lineup has been announced for the 2013 Detroit installment, but the June 8-9 festivities will have more details announced in February.
