Very easy set up out of the box. I have four of these at my place and use it more than I thought I would. You can use this device as an alarm clock, calendar, and other tools that would be great in any house.

You can control your lights from anywhere with the free Kasa app with these wifi plugs. Voice control works with Amazon platform with Alexa (see above) but you can also use it with Google Assitant and Microsoft Cortana. Compatible with both Android and Apple devices. I do own these as well and is great when I come home just to say turn on the living room lights. Simple to use along with easy setup. Every house should have these.

3. Wayze Indoor Home Security Camera 1080p ($25.98)

This inexpensive indoor home security camera has 2-way audio that you can talk through and listen via the free app. It has night vision and can alert you via a text for any motion detection. There are no monthly fees for storage and video clips are available via the cloud for 14 days. A micro SD card is sold separately and is highly recommended. This is a great value for indoor use.
