Counterfeit $5 Bills Circulating in Fenton and Linden Areas

Fake $5 dollar bills are apparently circulating around Fenton and Linden. Both police departments are warning business owners and citizens to be on the look out for the bogus bills.

All the fake bills have the serial number, HF06555252C. I doubt I will remember that, but any marking pen will prove the phony money. If you come across any of the counterfeit currency you are asked to contact Linden police at 810-735-7980 and Fenton Police at 810-629-5311.
