Creed have added more dates to the North American tour where they will play select hits in addition to their first two albums 'My Own Prison' and 'Human Clay' in their entirety.

Alter Bridge are on a scheduled hiatus this year so Myles Kennedy could work with Slash on his sophomore solo release and the other members could return to work on a new Creed album. The band will first embark on a tour where -- in some cities -- they will play two consecutive nights, playing their debut album 'My Own Prison' in full on the first and all of 'Human Clay' the second. Each night they will also mix in select tunes from their other albums as well. Scott Stapp rejoiced at the newly expanded tour, saying:

"I'm excited that we will be able to turn these initial select few shows into a full fledged tour! It means a lot to us that our fans wanted more shows and we look forward to performing these albums for them."

We probably won't hear new Creed material until the latter half of the year, but guitarist Mark Tremonti has a solo album in the can which might be released prior to that.
