Even in space, the crew of the International Space Station is getting into the Halloween spirit.

Dressing up for Halloween has been a tradition for many years in space at the ISS (International Space Station). In the past crew, members have dressed up with masks and even a gorilla suit while in space. The three crew members in space right now at the ISS are from the European Space Agency and even though they are working on scientific projects they still made time to enjoy the holiday and dress up.

ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst who dressed up as Darth Vadar wanted to carry on the long tradition. NASA astronaut Serena Auñón-Chancellor decided to be a mad scientist which is right up her ally due to the fact that she actually is a physician. Elvis even made an appearance in space as Cosmonaut Sergey Prokopyev of Roscosmos pays tribute to the king complete with sideburns, glasses and some hip-shaking good time.
