Dad Threatens Host At Birthday Party With Gun Because His Kids Don’t Get Cake

This is pretty nutty, but at the same time I think this guy is kind of awesome.

Tennessee resident, Joseph Hayes was arrested for threatening the host of a children's birthday party with a gun because his kids were not given cake or ice cream.

This did not sit well with Hayes.  He left the party and returned with a gun.

According to Orange UK,  Hayes, 48,  kept the gun in his pants and told the host, quote:

"I ain't scared to go to jail, just take care of my kids"

No word if the bitchy host gave the kids cake, however we do know she called police.

Hayes was arrested for aggravated assault.

Thoughts?  Is this Dad a nut case or does he deserve some credit for sticking up for his kids?
