A life threatening condition forced 14-year-old Mackenzie Toman into brain surgery, and beyond her healing, she was also given another spectacular gift thanks to ESPN.

The young woman has always had a love for soccer, and it was while pursuing her love that she discovered her neurological condition. She had her surgery in November, and thankfully made it through! Months later, she was featured on ESPN, and met the U.S. Women's Soccer Team including her idol Alex Morgan. The best part of this whole story is that she will be able to try out for the Davison High School soccer team as a freshman next year! Go Mackenzie, our best wishes are definitely with you!
