Davison Teen Opens Up on Facebook About Extremely Abusive Relationship

My step daughter came home from school yesterday and told me about a girl she knew from Davison that had posted an unbelievable story on Facebook.

We stood in the kitchen and she started to read this girl's story of physical and mental abuse. While reading, she would tear up throughout different parts of the story as would I. I couldn't believe how strong this 17 year-old girl from Davison was after taking so many beatings from her boyfriend, some so severe that she had to go the hospital.

Her story here wasn't told for attention but rather to bring awareness for those suffering in abusive relationships and how important it it to speak up. I asked if I could help spread the word about her story and she said yes.
