After years of vandalism, garbage and crime, Glen Acre Estates is finally coming down. This place has been nothing but an eyesore for residents and businesses on and around Pierson road.

There's no word as to what will replace this dump, but that's exactly what City Councilman Eric Mays says he doesn't want it to turn into. He said possibly a supermarket but nothing is in stone yet. According to ABC12, a press conference will be held next week with more details on the demolition project.

Just about two years ago, the property was condemned with tenants forced to leave because buildings were without running water. The complex has also seen murders and arson investigations. It's def time to see this place go.
