Detroit Casino Partnership Talks Eight New Casinos In Michigan, Including Birch Run

Please let this be so.  Whether you love casinos or think they are the devil, I believe adding a few casinos in Michigan would help turn things around.  The Detroit Casino Partnership has plans to add eight Casinos in Michigan, including Birch Run and Grand Rapids.All the partnership has to do now is convince voters to approve the plan.  The Committee for More Michigan Jobs could meet as early as Tuesday morning to try and get approval from the State Board of Canvassers to launch this voting plan.  According to the Detroit Free Press, these casinos could create 16,000 new jobs and raise up to $300 million in tax revenue each year.

Personally, I think it's a bit of a pain to go to the casino when you live in Flint.  However, we could end up seeing some casinos in Birch Run, Pontiac, and Grand Rapids.  Check out where the proposed plan places these new casinos here.
