Boy, people are having a real hard time reporting the death of Nelson Mandela. First, a Wyoming newspaper said that Mandela died five years before he was born and now this? The latest offense comes courtesy of WDIV Detroit's segment where they were "Remembering Nelson Mandela." Clearly, they were having the hardest time remembering what he looked like, because that's a picture of Alex Rodriguez.

At least we know it was an honest technical error -- A-Rod doesn't look anything like Mandela. Could you imagine if they put up a picture of Morgan Freeman? They would have had a hard time playing that off as "technical difficulty." Still, this isn't as offensive as when Michael Clarke Duncan died and a station showed a picture of Terry Crews.
