It's with a heavy heart that we have to report Detroit radio legend Mike Clark has passed away. According to The Detroit News, he passed away in his sleep last night at the age of 63.

Mike Clark was part of the legendary 'Drew and Mike Show' which aired on WRIF for over 20 years. After leaving WRIF back in 2013, the two started a podcast together just a few years later.

Back in the mid-90s, I used to love listening to Drew and Mike while I was attending broadcasting school. They were so damn funny, especially Mike with his goofy characters and real-life stories. Even if you were having the worst day, Mike's laugh was so infectious, you couldn't help but start laughing yourself.

I remember hearing a little while back that Mike was having some health issues but I never knew the extent of the problems he was having. His cause of death hasn't been released yet.

It bums me out that I never got the opportunity to meet Mike. My heart goes out to his family, friends and fans.
