Detroit Red Wings Go For 21 Consecutive Wins On Home Ice

Tonight, history will be made. The Detroit Red Wings will take the ice in hopes of pulling off their 21st consecutive home win, setting a new team record in the NHL. Check out the highlight video of the march to 21.

Don't get me wrong, the Lions and the Tigers are going to be good next year.  Even the Pistons have a glimpse of promise in Brandon Knight and Greg Monroe.  But the Red Wings have consistently given the state of Michigan something to be proud of and a pro sports team that is worth watching.  The Wings look to set a new record in consecutive home wins as they face the Stars tonight at the Joe.
