Detroit Teacher Fired After Breaking Up Fight With A Broom [VIDEO]

You may have heard Free Beer & Hot Wings discussing this story. A Detroit teacher was fired after breaking up a fight between two boys in her classroom with a broom. You will see in the video footage that these boys were going at it hard. What else was she supposed to do?

Apparently teachers at Pershing High School are given a walkie-talkie for their classrooms. If any incident erupts, they are to radio for help. Well guess what? The walkie-talkie was not working, so the unidentified teacher acted fast with the broom. I see nothing wrong with this at all. Do you? According to Achievement Authority spokeswoman Chrystal Wilson, the teacher can appeal the firing. The two boys involved have been suspended.
