Icy roads gave Detroit Tiger's third baseman a bit of a scare this morning -- according to the Detroit Free Press, Inge was involved in a six-car pile up just west of Ann Arbor, Mich. -- no one was injured.

Around 7:30 this morning (Tuesday, Dec. 6th) Inge's car hit a patch of ice and slid through the intersection of Parker and Scio Church Roads in Freedom Township.

While sliding through the intersection sideways, Inge's car struck one car heading east on Scio Church Road, then hitting three cars before Inge's car slid off the road coming to a stop. Two more vehicles were struck in the melee.

Washtenaw County Sheriff's office warned that the roads were icy and to drive with caution.

No one was injured or ticketed in this incident.
