The Detroit Tigers have spent the last couple of days touring around Michigan on their ‘2013 Winter Caravan Tour’ making stops around the metro Detroit area. However, they also made time to head out and see fans throughout Mid-Michigan as well. The tour made stops in Midland, Saginaw, and even right here in Flint.

The Detroit Tigers made a stop at the Pepsi Marketing and Equipment center on Thursday where they were joined by Olympic Gold Medalist Claressa Shields where they were greeted by the workers with a reel highlighting the Tigers season and a tour of the facility that ended with the presentation of a vending machine honoring the team on their A.L. championship season.

Some of the Tigers personnel that were on hand for the presentation included Tigers President, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager David Dombrowski, Catcher Alex Avila, Pitchers Rick Porcello and Duane Below,  along with Outfielder Quintin Berry.
