Dog Nearly Starved to Death Makes Full Recovery [VIDEO]

This before picture is absolutely horrifying.  The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) in the United Kingdom found Soldier, a German Shepard, so malnourished that he measured only 4 inches around in some parts of his body.  The dog is now the picture of health.

The Sun is reporting Soldier's former owner John Hendricks pleaded guilty to unnecessary suffering, paid some fines and is banned from owning a dog for 10 years.  This punishment seems pretty light to me considering what he did to this dog.  This a-hole should NEVER be able to have a dog again.
