Donna’s Donuts Nominated For ‘Sweetest Bakery In America’

Donna's Donuts on Bristol Road in Flint is nominated for Sweetest Bakery in America.

Donna's is up against several other bakeries in the United States and they need your vote to win. Voting runs now until July 31, 2018, at midnight. You can vote once daily. The winner of Sweetest Bakery in America will receive $1,000 and a full page-ad in Bake Magazine.

Donna's has been cranking out delicious donuts for over 50 years. I remember going to Donna's Donuts as a kid with my grandfather. He would sit in there for hours drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes with his fellow servicemen. Long gone are the days of smoking cigarettes at Donna's but the delicious donuts are still made daily. The donuts at Donna's are so good that my friends Lauren and Kristin had their wedding cake made out of them. It was awesome!
