A Texas man that went on a first date with a woman he met online is demanding a full refund because she was texting during a movie.

This guy actually filled a petition at a small claims court seeking $17.31 in damages(price of the movie). Come on man, really? He says it's the principle of the matter and it's a threat to civilized society.

I get that it was annoying to him and probably to other movie goers as well but dude, let it go. You just never go out with her again, you don't sue her. So what if his next date farts during the movie, you gonna sue her for that too. I mean, that too would be annoying and disruptive to other movie goers too.

According to WDIV, "After the movie started, defendant activated her phone at least 10-20 times in 15 minutes to read and send text messages, in direct violation of the theater's policy, " his petition states.

She said a friend really needed her so that's why she was texting. She was probably the one in need and was asking friends how to get rid of her douchey date.
