Former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan is revealing more details about his upcoming book.

According to the Associated Press, McKagan says the book will not be a GN'R "tell all".  Duff say's quote,:

"It will be a story of an ordinary guy who met with extraordinary circumstances, and the circumnavigation through these situations".

Extraordinary circumstances?  I'll say!  What a life he has had.

The bassist also writes about his rise to rock stardom, his struggle with drugs and his recent efforts to get a finance degree.

Duff and his wife were also featured on a reality show on E!, "Rock Star Wives".  That is his wife Susan in the picture above.

On Tuesday Duff joined Steven Adler on stage in London.  Adler was performing with his band "Adler's Appetite".  They performed "My Michelle" and "It's so Easy".

This is a book I will definitely read.  If you enjoy a book like this you should also check out "Scar Tissue" by Anthony Kiedis, "The Heroin Diaries" by Nikki Sixx and Slash's autobiography is good too.

Those are my "Maggie Book Club" picks!  LOL!

Heads up, if you win our trip to L.A. to the Golden Gods Awards you will see Duff with his band Loaded.
