The 2016 Flinttown Countdown is Thursday at the Flint Farmers' Market and we have been getting some questions about what to expect while ringing in the new year. So, we answered them all right here.

What time does the party start?

Doors open at 8pm, entertainment will start at 8:30pm.

What kind of entertainment can I expect?

We have a lot of different entertainment areas inside the Farmers' Market. We have live music from Rev Right Time and the First Cousins of Funk and Voodoo Honey on stage in the atrium. If you want more of a dance club atmosphere DJ Tron has you covered in the Ramsdell Room. We also have an Arctic Lounge on the upstairs balcony (through Market Tap) which will be the perfect place to watch the Fireworks at Midnight.

Can I watch the football game while I'm there?

You sure can! We will have it on a huge 20x15 foot screen hanging above the bands in the atrium.

Will there be food/drinks for sale?

Yes, there will be food for purchase from the following places: Mexico at the Market, B-Dogs, Tasty Layers, and Vehicle City Tacos.

Market Tap has multiple bar areas throughout the market with Bud Light, Bell's Winter Ale, and wine. They have one full bar with liquor upstairs.

Is there an age limit to attend?

The 2016 Flinttown Countdown is 21 and over only.

Will there be security there?

Yes, we have hired DM Burr Security for the night, they will be patrolling the entire event and the parking lot.

What should I wear?

We recommend casual dress (I am wearing jeans, boots, and a sweater). Most of the party is inside the market, but you may want to hang out in the Arctic Lounge, grab at taco from Vehicle City Tacos, and watch the fireworks at midnight, all of these take place outside.

What do I do with my coat?

We will have a coat check area inside the market.

Where can I get tickets?

You can purchase tickets at the Friends of the Market booth inside the Flint Farmers' Market on Tuesday or Thursday until 3pm.

We also have tickets at the radio station office (3338 E Bristol Rd. Burton 48529) (Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm)
