Two explosions have been reported near the finish line of the Boston Marathon near the intersection of Boylston and Exeter streets. Reports also say that store fronts have been blown out, and there are reports of dozens of injuries. Thousands of people were gathered on Boylston Street for the end race when the blasts happened at about 2:50 p.m, Will Ritter, a spokesman for a Massachusetts Senate candidate, said that he heard what sounded like two explosions and saw smoke rising near the Boston Public Library,  then he said he saw three fire engines and police running to the site.

Its also being reported that some of the runners coming in to the finish line area said they saw what they described as "an unspeakable horror" Boston Police responding have confirmed there was an incident but are not immediately giving out any details.
