Sure, historically the Detroit Lions haven’t done well with their draft picks. Don’t get me wrong, they've managed to pick up Matt Stafford, Calvin Johnson, and a few other choice guys here and there. But for the most part they struggle on draft day. So, think you know who the Lions should draft? If so, then maybe you should head to Lansing, find Chris Pruett, and sign his petition. Pruett, has supported the team for almost 50 year, which is amazing considering some of those seasons the team had in the late 90’s and especially during that 0-16 year,  But that hasn’t stopped Pruett from backing his Lions and this year he’s taking his support of the team to the streets with a petition for fans to sign. What is it for?  Pruett says,“ To let fans vote live via internet to make the draft picks for the Lions”.  When asked who he’d draft Pruett responded, “I don’t know; I’m not a big ol’ expert,” and added “I know a lot of stuff like that, but I’m here to connect with the fans, make the fans happy, and give the Lions fans a little cheer. I know this petition joke will never happen.” With the scouting combine closed and draft day on opening on April 25, and the Lions picking fifth, it’ll be interesting to see who they take.
