Last we reported, Five Finger Death Punch and producer Kevin Churko were nearing completion of the metal act's third studio album and had just added a new bass player to the lineup. The band has now confirmed that the album is finished and will be called 'American Capitalist'.

Five Finger Death Punch announced that the follow up to 2009's 'War is the Answer', will see release in the fall of 2011 and will bear the name 'American Capitalist'.  There is no word on whether or not the Wall Street inspired title will come with Gordon Gekko cover art, but the first single will be 'Under and Over It' and is due to hit radio July 27th.

'American Capitalist' is the band's first outing with recently named bassist Chris Kael, who is replacing former member Matt Snell. 5FDP handed Snell his walking papers in December of 2010 for reasons that were vaguely explained. While they confirmed that he was indeed fired, the band was contractually prohibited from saying "anything that would hurt his career if he goes any further", sounds like a messy divorce to me.

This album will be the second produced by Kevin Churko, who also held that job for the last record 'War is the Answer'. Though it's not as exciting as a preview of the new song, we do have a sneak peek at the cover art for it.
